With Chats you can write to anyone on your team without leaving Turno Virtual. Each conversation is between two people. Chats are available if your plan includes messaging: see your plan.

Open the chats

Click Chats in the top bar. If you have an unread message, you see a notice right there.

Contacts lists your team: the people you can write to. The most recent conversations come first, with the last message and its date; a conversation with messages you haven't read yet is highlighted. If you haven't talked with someone yet, you see Start a new conversation under their name.

If you have a Branch assigned in your Permissions, in Contacts you see the people who have that same branch. If you don't have a branch assigned, you see the whole team. See add your team.

Have a conversation

Click a person and the conversation opens in a side panel. Type your message at the bottom and send it with the button on the right.

New messages arrive on their own, without you having to reload the page. If someone writes to you and you don't have that conversation open, a notice appears with the sender's photo and their message: click the notice to open the conversation.

See whether they read your message

Your messages have a double check mark. When the other person opens the conversation and reads them, the check mark changes color. In Contacts you see the same on the last message of each conversation, if you sent it.

See whether someone is online

Above the conversation you see the other person's photo with a colored dot. Hover over the photo to see their status:

  • Online: they are using Turno Virtual.
  • Busy: they are signed in to Turno Virtual, but haven't used it for more than 20 minutes.
  • Offline: they aren't in Turno Virtual.
